I am delighted to announce that my portrait of a hare - Coquette - won 2nd place in the Artist's Magazine annual competition in the animal/wildlife category! That was quite an exciting surprise. She was also juried into the Mountain Oyster Club show in Tucson which starts in November.
Art shows are finally coming back in person and it's SO good to see fellow artists and have a chance to talk to you - our collectors - face to face again. I'm staying hopeful that this next year will be full of more of same. Not sure what "normal" is anymore, but I'm definitely ready to be out of the studio!
